Our “Dedicated Vertical” Modules meet the very specific requirements of the market they address. They provide, for example, antenna diagnostic, a robust antenna connector and SIM access profile.

Our Tracking Modules most prominent feature is the onboard GPS receiver. The integrated GPS tracking service allows the location of objects, vehicles or persons making these modules optimised for fleet management and vehicle recovery systems.

Automotive Modules

Rough environments that reach temperatures of up to 85°C are child’s play for the AC75, one of three products described as rugged. In addition, they were developed in accordance with TS16949. In addition they are developed according to TS16949. They are provided with antenna diagnostic, a robust SMP antenna connector and they feature SIM access profile (SAP). Siemens offers different modules for this market: The Java™ based Quad-Band modules AC65 and AC75, the latter featuring the EDGE data-transmission standard, and the Dual-Band GPRS module AC45.
