General Purpose Modules
From GSM to HSDPA technology and from Java™ to RIL driver functionality - this defines the range of features which are integrated into the products of the category modules. There is, for example, the HC25 which is based on the high-speed data transmission standard HSDPA and offers up to 3.6 Mbit/s, or the MC75 which transmits data via the EDGE standard – the fastest standard in the GSM network – or the TC35i which offers just GSM connectivity. And there are a lot of modules between these, each dedicated for a specific use, in order to offer you the module you require for your application.
2G modules
Featuring Cinterion's most successful module on the market - the MC55/56 - with many millions already sold, Cinterion's 2G portfolio provides you with extremely reliable modules ranging from GSM to GPRS. The 2G modules come with a broad range of interfaces, a robust mounting arrangement and optimised features to suit the needs of various industry applications. The MC55i, MC55/56, MC39i and TC35i have been continually improved to guarantee the highest reliability and quality.
Wireless Module MC39i
Standard GPRS connectivity without complexity

The MC39i is smaller than a business card, exceptionally flat, energy-efficient and offers GPRS class 10 data transmission rates. This feature set makes the MC39i the ideal candidate for integration into M2M applications, like security systems, fleet management solutions and many more. Due to its high-performance GPRS capabilities the MC39i is also well suited for mobile computing devices like smart phones and GSM modems.
Representing the state of the art in technology, the MC39i also supports the Packet Broadcast Control Channel (PBCCH), which is a double signaling channel that greatly improves transmission performance in GPRS mode. The link between the module and your application is established via a ZIF connector (special cable connector). |

Wireless Module TC35i
Inexpensive and flexible

Small dimensions, a flexible installation design, simple integration and low power consumption are all essential features of the TC35i radio module. Developed primarily for high-volume M2M applications, the TC35i is employed in the areas of measurement and remote maintenance, transportation and logistics, traffic systems, gateways and access, vending machines, security, health care and building technology.
The link between the TC35i radio module and your application is created via a ZIF connector and a GSC aerial socket. R&TTE, GCF and network operator approvals have been obtained, making it simpler for you to obtain approvals for your own applications. |
